Garland Hunt Jr.
Growing up in Atlanta, GA and receiving diplomas in Film and Business with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior from the University of Southern California, Garland Hunt Jr. had set his sights on a career in both the mental health and entertainment industries.
As a mental health and executive coach, Garland has developed creative solutions to help individuals achieve clarity and purpose in relationships, career, mind, body, soul and spirit. He has worked in the spiritual counseling and mental health spaces for over 10 years. He currently serves as the Founder and CEO of the nationwide practice of coaches, Overt Creative Coaching LLC, where he and a team of 30 coaches have developed leaders and teams of Google, BMW, Edison, Teen Challenge, Jaguar-Land Rover, Edison, Agilent Technologies, and Deloitte. His emphasis in Organizational Behavior led him to completing certifications in Strategic Intervention from Robbins-Madanes Training Institute, an ICF Certification as a Professional Life Coach, Certification as a Somatic Breathwork Facilitator from Somatiq Breathwork Institute, holds certifications in Spiritual Direction, Soul Inner Healing and currently earning a certification in MetaPerformance Executive Coaching for Novus Global.
Garland Hunt Jr. is also a film producer and award winning VR producer. He has produced TUTANKHAMUN: ENTER THE TOMB with National Geographic, which was nominated at the Cannes Film Festival, nominated for a PGA Award, won a Lumiere Award and Telly Award. He also produced this past year’s VR success EXPERIENCE YOSEMITE starring Bryan Cranston and AREA MAN LIVES starring Max Greenfield, Joel McHale and Ronan Farrow which was also nominated at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. Garland is currently producing WAR UNFOLDING, a documentary, with Academy Award winner Laura Dern, 4x Academy Award nominee Annette Bening, and Golden Globe winner Paul Walter Hauser on its way to Sundance Film Festival and in October 27th releasing the largest documentary theatrical release of all time with 4mil box office pre-sales for After Death.
